A project database equipped with a user friendly web interface has been developed by the company Terrestris.
It is based on an open source system that has been tailored to meet HOBE’s needs. Terrestris already has experience with creating solutions for the German research project TERENO, which is one of HOBE's major collaboration partners.
Fresh project data is transfered via the internet to the database.
Historical data from key institutions in Denmark is also stored and presented in the database. E.g. historical meteorological, hydrological, and geological data from the catchment.
The database facilitates easy data-sharing among the scientists and students affiliated to HOBE and dissemination of data to interested parties according to a data policy.
